BLUEFIELD (WVVA)--- Fans have filed in all day long at the Carmike Cinemas 8 near the Mercer Mall in anticipation for the midnight release of "The Dark Knight Rises".
"Man I can not wait it is what I have been waiting for the whole year," said Clayton England.
The movie is the third installment of the Batman trilogy directed by Christopher Nolan. Some think if the hype is as big as what everyone thinks, this might break records at the box office.
"I think that it can be number one and that is saying a lot. It has stiff competition with "Titanic" and "The Avengers"," says manager of Carmike Cinemas 8 Lou Ridgley.
"I think the Dark Knight shall rise to number one, I really do, I think it is going to rank up there."
