SOUTH CHARLESTON (WVVA) - A pair have been arrested for a string of thefts in Kanawha and Fayette counties during the aftermath of the June 29 storm.

Kristina Griggs, 34, and Dustin Lycans, 30 -- both of Marmet -- were arrested on Monday, July 9, on multiple counts of breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy.

State Police say the pair committed multiple crimes during the recent power outage in West Virginia.  Among the property which was recovered include a generator, a weed eater, power tools, hand tools, a tanning bed, flat screen televisions, a laptop computer, and several firearms.

Police say the pair committed the crimes with the assistance of a juvenile family member.

Both are being held at South Central Regional Jail on $50,000 bond.
