ATHENS, W.Va. – Home of Concord University, the small town of Athens will once again host their annual town social.
While preparations are underway, the town is still in need for more vendors.
Vendor space is available for the 26th Athens-Concord Town Social set for Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the front lawn of Concord University.
Craft vendors and organizations with informational displays are invited to set up a booth, free-of charge, during the social. To reserve a vendor space contact Sharon Griffee at 304-384-3243 or Jean Beasley at 304-301-4037. Reservations should be made by Friday, Aug. 3, 2012.
Along with an array of vendors, the Athens-Concord Town Social features live musical entertainment, children's games, a complimentary picnic lunch, free admission and lots more fun. Individuals, along with a local business, who have enhanced community and campus life, will be honored during the festivities.
