RUPERT (WVVA) - Two men are behind bars after being charged with breaking into a Greenbrier County pharmacy during the recent power outage.

Police say Robert Winfrey Jr. and George Ryder, both of Rupert, took more than $150,000 worth of prescription narcotics from the Western Greenbrier Pharmacy in Rupert.

Police say the suspects took advantage of the power outage by being able to pry the doors of the pharmacy open without the alarm sounding.

The investigation by the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department is ongoing. Investigators say more arrests are possible.
