BLAND (WVVA) - A pair of suspects charged in the killing of a convenience store clerk in Mount Airy will be headed back to North Carolina.
Joshua Berry, 28, of Bluewell and his wife Sarah Berry, 24, of North Tazewell, both waived extradition during a hearing in Bland County Court Wednesday morning.
The two will be transported to Surry County, N.C., at a later date.
The two are charged in connection with the May 25 shooting of 58-year-old Donald Arnder during a robbery at a convenience store in Mount Airy, N.C.

Joshua Berry is charged with murder, attempted armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Sarah faces charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery and accessory after the fact to murder.
The two are also facing charges related to robberies in Bland and Wythe counties. Joshua Berry is also a suspect in a pair of robberies at the Cinema 8 in Bluefield and in Florida.
Bland County dropped local charges for both suspects, but the state could pursue them at a later date.
Joshua Berry was apprehended at a Bland County residence in early June. Sarah Berry had previously turned herself in to police.
A third suspect, 23-year-old Emanuel Foster, is currently being held in a Surry County jail.
