Princeton looking at amending video lottery ordinance

Posted:

PRINCETON (WVVA)-- The city of Princeton is looking to amend its video lottery ordinance.

The current ordinance allows parlors to operate within 300 feet of establishments such as churches or schools. "The new ordinance restriction is 1,000 feet from any church, school, residence or other video lottery establishments," Code Enforcement Director Bill Buzzo said.

There are currently six video lottery parlors within Princeton city limits. Those already in place will not be affected by the new ordinance.

Operators of video lottery parlors are not allowed to serve alcohol within city limits.
