GREEN VALLEY (WVVA) - A woman and her boyfriend are behind bars after allegedly staging a robbery at a Mercer County business.
West Virginia State Police say Dustin Shawn Reynolds, 21, of Princeton entered the Executive Lounge in Green Valley Sunday night wearing a mask and holding a knife. His girlfriend Victoria Combs, an employee at the lounge, allegedly gave him $2,500 in cash then called for help.
Troopers say Combs, 21, of Princeton, confessed to the scheme. Reynolds was arrested Monday. Both Combs and Reynolds are charged with first-degree robbery and conspiracy.
The cash has not been recovered.
Trooper 1st Class S.R. Moore and Trooper W.H. File of the Princeton detachment of the State Police, are conducting the investigation.
