Keeping Animals Safe in Hot Weather

Posted:

PRINCETON (WVVA)--- When the weather gets hot we look to find immediate relief. But it is not just humans that suffer from the sun. It is animals too.

It is sometimes overlooked that dogs can drink as much or even more water than humans when it gets hot outside.

It is important to leave your animals enough water before you leave the house, but not too much where it will overheat in the sun and cause your animal to become sick.

Kids pools are also a great for your animal to have fun in the sun while keeping cool at the same time.
