NEWS RELEASE FROM WEST VIRGINIA AMERICAN WATER:

FAYETTE COUNTY UPDATE (NEW RIVER SYSTEM) - 7/4/12 9:30 A.M. - Power was
partially restored at our New River plant around midnight. The plant has
been running on generators since Friday, and since the power was restored
in phases throughout the early morning, the generators would not continue
working since they recognized partial power loads. Full power was restored
around 7 a.m. and the plant is back up and running. Customers in the
Fayette County area should see their water pressure return to normal in the
next few hours. We still have some boosters and tanks running on generator
power, and our crews will continue moving generators around to maintain
tank levels until full power is restored throughout the system.

West Virginia American Water has filling stations at the following
locations. Customers must bring their own containers to fill.
Oak Hill - West Virginia American Water's Oak Hill Operations Center,
located at 129 Highland Ave in Oak Hill (near Plateau Medical
Center). Customer can fill containers at the office outdoor faucet.
Salem-Gatewood - Old Salem-Gatewood PSD office on Gatewood Road in
Salem-Gatewood. The filling station is a portable water tanker.
