Summers County storm update

HINTON (WVVA) - The Summers County Office of Emergency Management released the following information on storm recovery efforts in the county Tuesday.

Bottled water is available at the Sandstone, Talcott, Forest Hill, Pipestem, JB-Nimitz and Summers County volunteer fire departments.

Food stations have been set up at Sandstone, Talcott, Forest Hill and Summers County VFDs.

Ice is being provided to VFDs as it becomes available.

Southern Sanitations customers who need to dispose of spoiled food can do so at their office. Food must be bagged and you must have your customer number.

Due to a large volume of calls at the 911 center, residents are asked to contact local fire departments about power, food, water, etc.
