- 3rd Peel Chestnut Mountain Independence Day Fireworks at Synan Farm. Event begins at 6 p.m.
- Fireworks at Bowen Field in Bluefield following Blue Jays game. Game starts at 7:05 p.m.
- Fireworks celebration at Laurel Meadows Park in Pocahontas, Va. Festivities held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
- Fireworks at Hunnicutt Stadium, Princeton. Car show from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Taylor Made from 6-7 p.m.
- Independence Day at Crab Orchard Museum in Tazewell, Va. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Fireworks in Beckley. 9:30 p.m. in the Pinecrest/Raleigh County Convention Center area.
