BECKLEY (WVVA)--- No new details were released in a press conference Monday afternoon on the death of 34-year-old Jeffrey Godsey from Wyoming County.
Godsey's body was found on the side of the road at Bull Falls just outside of Pipestem. Police say they know how the body got there, but do not want to release that until the autopsy is completed.
"It determines the outcome of course, there are several factors that could happen in an autopsy and that is what we are waiting on in a way," says Sgt. T.L. Bragg of the West Virginia State Police.
"We are waiting to see the conclusion of not only the autopsy but some other leads we are going to produce. You do not want to go out on a limb here and do something that would be detrimental to the investigation."
PIPESTEM (WVVA)-- WVVA has learned that the body of a man who was found in the side of the road in Summers County has been identified.
According to Trooper Davis of the West Virginia State Police the medical examiner was able to ID the body, and it is that of Jeffrey Shane Godsey.
The man's body was found Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m. near Bull Falls just outside Pipestem.
The find of the body is labeled as suspicious, however State Police know how the body got there but are not ready to label the death as a homicide yet.

PIPESTEM (WVVA) - State Police are calling the death of a male whose body was found alongside a road in Summers County suspicious.
The body of a white male was found around 1 p.m. Saturday in the Bull Falls area of Summers County.
The victim has not been identified.
The West Virginia State Police are investigating.
