The carnival is back in town in Richlands this week. Rides, food, games, and much more promises to provide all that attend a good time. With all the heat in the forecast this week, a few hours at the Richlands Town Fair seems like a great way to cool down, and still have a great time. Even this it rains, that still won't be enough to dampen the spirits of carnival goers, like the Boyd family from Richlands.
"Well it was a little rainy when we first got here, seems like its clearing up, and I'm ready to have a good time.
Rides such the Ion and Tilt-a-Whirl were among some of the guest's favorites, and fair staples such as funnel cake and cotton candy are readily available for when guests get hungry. All those who will come this week all have one common idea:
"Let's just go have fun…!"
The festival runs until Saturday at Richlands High School. It's $15 on Thursday, and $20 on Friday and Saturday for unlimited rides. It opens at 4 on Thursday and Friday, and at noon on Saturday with free rides until 1. During the evening, bands will also be playing, giving you on more reason to stop by.
