WASHINGTON D.C. (WVVA) - Several local military veterans traveled to Washington D.C. Wednesday to visit the capital of the nation they proudly served.
The Honor Flight trip, organized by the Denver Foundation, left Princeton by bus early Wednesday morning.
The veterans visited Capitol Hill to meet with West Virginia's congressional delegation. They also toured the national memorials for World War II, the Korean War and The Vietnam War.
WVVA's Amir Abbas and Mark Hughes were privileged to be among the media members who joined the veterans on their trip and captured the above photos throughout the day.
