Brian’s Safe House

The Safehouse is a place where residents become a part of a small community. In this setting of family atmosphere and regimented structure character strengths and weaknesses are revealed. All residents have daily responsibilities. They remain in this structured environment for 13 months. The Safehouse is more than a place to sleep. There is a daily routine of chores, education, work therapy, recreation, and group therapy.

Company Over view

Brian's Safehouse is a faith-based ministry offering hope and healing for men who are struggling with life-controlling issues. The journey to success involves a 12 to 14 month stay as a resident with a biblically based treatment plan. (304) 763-7655

General Information

Group Therapy Both individual and group sessions occur on a weekly basis. These sessions may be called or are regularly scheduled meetings. The residents themselves are very important to each other's treatment. In these community style meetings, residents discuss issues within the dorm community. Input from these meetings may influence the individual's treatment as well as program direction and changes.
While at Brian's Safehouse there is 24/7 staff supervision for the safety and protection of the residents.

Mission

To have a safe place for young men to become completely free from any type of addictive chemical dependency and the corresponding lifestyle.

Awards

Brian's Safehouse is a trans denominational 501c3 organization. Our organization is accountable to a local board made up of Christian counselors, Christian business men, and Christian medical and legal professionals from different denominations. We are united in the recovery of broken lives. Shortly after Brian's death, God strategically created divine appointments within the Christian community between persons who had been praying for a long-term faith based treatment center. They formed a working board which obtained the 501c3 organizational status and built the organization knows as Brian's Safehouse.

Brian's Safehouse is located in Raleigh County, WV. Citizens in our county are not content to close their eyes or turn their backs to the drug abuse of southern WV. Drug abuse is needlessly claiming the lives of our fathers, sons, brothers and friends. We believe there is something that can be done to provide hope and healing for broken lives and hurting families. We unite together for this cause.
