Richlands Lady Blues advance to state semis

The Richlands Lady Blues are going somewhere they haven't been in 25 years.

After beating Rustburg Saturday evening 68-64, the Lady Blues are heading to Richmond for the Division three Virginia state semis.

Richlands was led by Brittany Allen with 19 points as the Lady Blues will now take on Liberty-Bealeton Tuesday morning at the Siegel Center at VCU.

Liberty-Bealeton defeated Brunswick 73-51 in the quarterfinals. Tip off is set for 11 a.m.
