Concord Head Coach Kenny Osborne was named WVIAC Coach of the year today. Osborne led the Lady Mountain Lions to a 21 win season, the most in program history.
He won the award last in 2003.
C-U is ranked 9th in the latest NCAA Division 2 Atlantic poll.
But it wasn't just Osborne that garnered recognition today. Senior forward Jolysa Brown was named to the first team all WVIAC while Andrea Bertran and Kamisha Alexander were named to the second team.
Ladies host Wheeling Jesuit Monday night at 6:30 in the Carter Center for the first round of the WVIAC tournament. Winner moves on to Charleston to face the winner of Pitt-Johnstown and University of Charleston.
