FAYETTEVILLE (WVVA) - The grandson of a racing legend is in the Mountain State as he gets his NASCAR career off and running.
Bobby Dale Earnhardt, grandson of the late Dale Earnhardt Sr., is in West Virginia to promote the start the newly-formed Earnhardt-Carson Racing team.
Earnhardt has been sponsored by Chavela Simmons, a Charleston business owner, and is touring the state to find more sponsorship opportunities in West Virginia.
Earnhardt is scheduled to visit Ripley at 11 a.m. and Fayetteville at 3 p.m. Thursday. He will continue his tour through Feb. 13.
