PRINCETON (WVVA) - The Princeton Lady Tigers have stayed in the Top 10 in AAA the entire season, and one reason for that success is the play of Junior McKenzie Akers.

Akers is following a similar path taken by her older sister, Tesla, who's now averaging 13 points per game as a junior at Ferrum College.

McKenzie says she was always pushed by the achievements of her older sister. She has scored her 1,000th point in her junior season and hopes to lead the Lady Tigers to the playoffs.
