Man gets 10 years in downtown Bluefield shooting spree

PRINCETON (WVVA) - A man who fired an AK-47 through the streets of downtown Bluefield has been sentence to 10 years behind bars.

Patrick Flack, 20, of Bluefield pleaded guilty in December 2011 to two counts of felony wanton endangerment for the shooting spree on Bland Street in Bluefield in November 2010.

Police said Flack and another man, Corey Callen, fired more than two dozen rounds from an AK-47 and a handgun, striking multiple buildings in the downtown area.

Because he was a juvenile at the time of the incident, Flack was sentenced to the Youthful Offender program.

If he completes the two-year program in prison, Flack could serve the rest of his sentence on parole.
