The Concord Women picked up a crucial victory over Fairmont State yesterday to improve to 10-2 and 7-1 in the WVIAC.
Jolysa Brown finished with 28 points and 12 rebounds.
Brown entered yesterday's contest in the top 10 in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, assist-turnover ratio and minutes played. That's a mouthful.
While those numbers have been a big part of Concord's success-- they don't have a long time to recover as they'll travel to Ohio Valley tomorrow night as the first of three straight road games.
On the men's side of the ball-- they travel to Ohio Valley tomorrow too as the men will try to shake off an 84-82 loss to Fairmont State Saturday.
Concord is on the road for their next three games with match ups against Ohio Valley, West Virginia State and Wheeling Jesuit.
The Mountain Lions hold a 4-4 mark in the conference with a 7-5 record overall.
With yesterday's loss the Mountain Lions have still won two of their last three heading into tomorrow's contest.
