Princeton Man Facing Attempted Murder Charges

PRINCETON (WVVA)-- A man is being faced with attempted murder as well as other charges after he allegedly assaulted a man and sent him to the hospital.

According to Lt. Paul Hill of the Princeton Police Department Jim Wells will be arraigned tomorrow on counts of attempted murder, two counts of wanton endangerment and one count of kidnapping after police were called to the scene on North Wickham Ave. in Princeton shortly after 3:15 P. M after a gunshot was heard.

The shot fired did not hit anyone.

At this hour, Lt. Hill said that he believes that the man, whose name was not released, has been released from the hospital after sustaining minor injuries.
