BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - It's a big time for the Big Blues tennis team.
Two Bluefield State College tennis players are representing the college in this week's National Small College Championships in Mobile, Ala.
Sophomore Vlad Catlan and Junior Niklas Sparr qualified for the national tournament after recently winning the Atlantic regional.
Catlan will be one of eight players nationally participating in the singles championship. He will then team up with Sparr in doubles.
This is the second year Bluefield State has had a player make the tournament. Shikhar Kapur qualified last year.
