(PRESS RELEASE) - Free sausage biscuits, barbeque sandwiches and beverages will be served at an open house celebrating Tudor's Biscuit World's new Pineville location.
The event is Wednesday, October 12 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The new restaurant is located at 200 Appalachian Highway, Pineville.
Pineville Mayor Tim Ellison will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony to begin the festivities. State Senators and Delegates representing Wyoming County and Wyoming County EDA members have been invited to participate as well.
Tudor's Biscuit World is a West Virginia based company with over 60 locations throughout the state. Tudor's is renowned for its fresh, made-from-scratch biscuits which are the basis for an array of signature breakfast sandwiches. The restaurant also serves breakfast platters, lunch sandwiches and home-style lunch entrees.
Tudor's Biscuit World Vice President Rebecca Lies says she is hoping for a good turnout at the open house, based upon feedback from Pineville residents leading up to the grand opening.
"We've had an extremely positive response" she says. "Everyone is so eager for the store to open."
"We have been very blessed with loyal support from our customers," she says. "We are able to do this simply because people like Tudor's so much."
The restaurant's management team consists of Area Supervisor Angelique McCoy, Manager Jennifer Hutton, Co-Managers Lisa Trent and Sherry Meade.
Following the free food and celebration Wednesday night, the restaurant will begin observing regular business hours on Thursday, 5:30 am to 2 pm daily.
"We are just as excited as our new customers," Lies says. "We are looking forward to serving the people of Pineville."
