WVVA TV Bluefield Beckley WV News, Weather and SportsWestside-Scott game canceled due to lack of refs

SCOTT (WVVA) - West Virginia Metronews is reporting the game between Scott and Westside was canceled Friday evening due to no referees being scheduled for the contest.

Accounts on WVVA News' Facebook page from those that were at the game say the crowd waited approximately an hour for the game to begin.

The Metronews report says the game will not be rescheduled and both teams will now finish this season with a 9-game schedule.
