    Woman guilty of four charges after running over employee

    MERCER CO. (WVVA) - Dustie Beller was on trial for running over a woman with her car all for chainsaw. While she was found not guilty of attempted murder, the jury did find her guilty of petty larceny, conspiracy, failure to stop and render aid, and malicious wounding. WHITESVILLE- The Upper Big Branch Mining Memorial Group announced on Thursday a $10,000 donation to the UBB Miners Memorial from Vossloh Track Material Incorporated. The company's contribution brings the total amount pledged and collected for the memorial to over $140,000. With this donation, the Upper Big Branch Mining Memorial Group is closing in on it's goal of $250,000. In May,  Alpha Natural Resources pledged to match the first $250,000 the memorial group was able to raise. The total estimated cost to build the UBB Miners Memorial is $500,000. "The Upper Big Branch Mining Memorial Group would like to thank Vossloh Track Material Inc. for moving us one step closer to reaching our fundraising goal and getting this memorial built," said UBBMMG President Sheila Combs.

Vossloh Track Material, Inc.'s Mining Division is the largest full-line supplier of rail, trackwork, steel and wood ties to the coal mining industry. Their business is conducted primarily with underground coal mines in West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio and Pennsylvania. The company's Mining Division is located in St. Albans, WV.  Vossloh Track Material, is a new company in the Vossloh Group. Vossloh, headquartered in Werdohl, Germany is a Specialist for the Applied Transport Technologies of Today and Tomorrow and is a leader in the rail infrastructure and rail technology markets.

The Upper Big Branch Mining Memorial Group, INC is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) established in February of 2011 to raise funds to construct a memorial plaza located in Whitesville, WV. The memorial will commemorate the events that occurred at UBB, pay homage to all fallen coal miners and recognize the importance of the coal mining industry to the Mountain State.
