Hospice of Southern West Virginia hopes you'll put on your game day gear and join Tony Caridi Thursday, August 4th at the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center and go ‘Inside the Huddle'. The evening of fun, games and West Virginia University football begins at 5:30 pm.
Special guests include Don Nehlen and Bob Pruett. Janett Green, Executive Director of Hospice of Southern WV said, "We are blessed that Don Nehlen and Bob Pruett have agreed to be part of this event. They are both legends in the state of West Virginia and we hope they're a big draw."
The night will kick-off with games including a football toss, corn hole and 50/50 raffle. Participates get a chance to win a 42" plasma TV and gas grill. There will also be a silent auction on items including a 2 night, 3 day stay and 18 holes of golf at Twin Falls Resort State Park, Theatre WV passes, a whitewater rafting trip, WVU gear, ‘A House Divided' with Marshall and WVU gear, restaurant gift certificates, Vera Bradley beach bag and accessories and more.
"We're going to have everything people could want: special guests, games, raffles, prizes, food and of course football! It should be a great night and it's a great cause." said Leigh Ann Long, Public Relations Director.
Tickets are now on sale for $40 each. Tables of 8 can be purchased for $300. Ticket price includes dinner and entertainment. All proceeds from the event will go to Hospice of Southern WV.
