Jaime joined the WVVA sports team as Sports Director in June 2011. She spent the last year as a sports reporter and anchor in the Charleston-Huntington area, covering all of the high school and college teams across the state. She is a proud graduate of E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University (go Bobcats!).

While in college, Jaime worked as sports director for WOUB-TV. She also spent time on the desk as a sports anchor and on the sidelines as a reporter for the Ohio football team. Jaime was also a reporter for the regional Emmy award-winning high school football highlights show "Gridiron Glory."

Jaime's most memorable media moment was meeting the young man battling leukemia who got to announce the Pittsburgh Steelers' first round draft pick in 2010. She also had the opportunity to cover the West Virginia state football, basketball, softball and baseball tournaments while in the Capitol City. She's excited to be able to cover the athletes in the southern part of the state!

Jaime is originally from Pittsburgh, Penn., and bleeds black and gold (but no worries, she's not a Pitt fan). Although she mainly cheers for Pittsburgh area teams, the old gold and blue have earned a special spot in her heart in the past two years. If you have any story ideas, please let Jaime know!
