It's a great day to be a Mountaineer--or at least a great day to be former Mountaineer Darryl Talley.
Talley was one of 16 new inductees elected to the College Football Hall of Fame Tuesday.
Talley was a star during his time in Morgantown, accumulating 484 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 19 sacks and five interceptions. His stellar career was good enough to make him the Bills' second-round pick.
Some other notables who will be inducted into the college football Hall of Fame include, Eddie George the running back from Ohio State, Russell Maryland from the University of Miami, Deion Sanders the defensive back from Florida State and LLoyd Carr, the longtime Michigan Coach.
All the inductees will be formally inducted later this year.
