LEWISBURG-
Goldfinch Cottage, a newly renovated rental home in the Lewisburg Historic District, will host the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours on Thursday May 19 from 7:30 to 9:30 am. The two bedroom cottage, located at 108 North Lee Street, is owned by Don and Marit Withrow of St. Louis, Missouri. It is completely furnished and is now available for short term occupancy through Mardi McMillan of Dogwood Realty.
Green Mountain Builders, owned by Aaron Huffman, served as the general contractor for the renovation of this 74 year old cottage. It has been completely modernized while maintaining its original architectural features.
The furnished cottage is available as an "executive rental" and includes cooking utensils, dishes, sheets and towels. Internet service and cable TV are also supplied. "There is a big demand for executive rentals in the Lewisburg area," explained real estate broker Mardi McMillan.
Business Before Hours, a popular event for the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce, gives members the opportunity to showcase their businesses and for members to become acquainted with fellow business people. A complimentary continental breakfast will be served at the May 19 event. So start your day with a preview of this sunny cottage.
