Concord's #1 tennis player Diogo Monterio, is the West Virginia Conference's number-one freshman.
The first-year player was named the conference's freshman of the year on Friday.
Monterio held a 5-3 singles record this season for the Mountain Lions and helped his team seal the five-seed for the conference tournament.
Bluefield State's defending Player of the Year Shikar Kapur was named to the conference's first-team.
He was joined by teammate Marcin Majchrzak , who makes his third appearance on the top squad.
