Meet Dr. Beckett, Fitness Challenge contributor

(WVVA) - Dr. Joe Beckett of Concord University has graciously agreed to contribute to this year's Fitness Challenge. 

Dr. Beckett is a native of Bluefield and a 1976 graduate of Bluefield High School.  He received his bachelor's degree from Wittenberg (OH) University in 1980, the master's degree from Marshall (WV) University in 1983, and his doctoral degree from West Virginia University in 1996.

Dr. Beckett currently serves as the Athletic Training Program Director at Concord University.

Dr. Beckett and his wife, Sandie are empty nesters who reside in Athens. They have a daughter (Jordan) and two sons (Brian and Kevin) who are in college or have already graduated from college.

Dr. Beckett is currently in his 28th year in Higher Education. Below is his complete resume.
