Administrator of Princeton Health Care Center
I have been a nursing home administrator for twenty-three years. I have served in this capacity at Princeton Health Care Center for twelve years. Health care runs in my family with my grandmother and my daughter being nurses and my father preceding me as a nursing home administrator. I have always been a caring person and my job enables me to help care for the frail and elderly of our community. `I serve as Secretary of the West Virginia Health Care Association, the Bluefield State College Board of Governors, the Chuck Mathena Center Board of Directors and other local entities.

I am presently the Director of Social Services and Admissions at Princeton Health Care Center, where I have worked for over 13 years. My background prior to being a long term care social worker was working with children as an Elementary School Teacher. I also am the facilitator for the Mercer County Alzheimer's Support Group. This position has provided me with an opportunity to speak in the community on topics such as Alzheimer's Awareness, Caregiver Stress, and Initiating Advance Directives. In November of 2009 I was selected to train and become certified as a POLST facilitator.

I am currently the Director Of Nursing Services at Princeton Health Care Center. I have been a practicing nurse for 16 years in various settings. I hold a BSN from Mountain State University, I am also a graduate of West Virginia Nursing Leadership Institute, and Mercer County Technical Education Center. I hold a certificate as a certified Director of Nursing in Long Term Care by the American Association for Long Term Care Nursing. I am a member of numerous professional organizations.
Billy Clay, RN, BSN
I have worked in the nursing profession for 10 years. I graduated Oceana High School in 2000 and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant while attending Bluefield State College. I obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Bluefield State College in 2007 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2009. I also completed the school nurse program, which gives me the opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse in the public school system. I have worked as a Registered Nurse in various fields, including: Emergency Department, Med-Surg, and Long Term Care. I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and have been involved in various community projects. I participated in collecting $75,000.00 worth of medications for a local clinic for patient's without insurance and also initiated an animal therapy program at a local long term care facility with the assistance of a classmate. I am currently employed as a RN Case Manager at Princeton Health Care Center as I complete my Masters of Science in Nursing degree at Marshall University. I am scheduled to graduate from Marshall University in the Spring of 2012 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
