WVVA & Locked Hearts Project Wedding Rules and Regulations

Eligibility: Contest is open to permanent, legal residents of the United States residing in West Virginia or Virginia by the date of March 22, 2010. Participants must be age 18 or older. Neither the employees of any sponsor, nor the employees' family is eligible to win.

Drawing: Entries will be narrowed down to three lucky couples, which will be interviewed by WVVA News and will compete against one another for votes from WVVA viewers. Votes will be tallied, and the winning couple will be announced on or around May 5, 2010. The decision of the sponsors will be final and binding. Actual odds of winning depend on number of entries received.

Give-a-way use: Wedding ceremony will be held October 16, 2010 at the Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton, WV. The winning couple must agree to hold the ceremony and reception on this date and at this location. Date of wedding is subject to change only under request from vendors. Prizes cannot be modified in any way, no discounts or substitutions are allowed, and there will be no cash awards in lieu of these prizes.

Release of liability: By entering the contest, entrants accept and agree to these rules and the decisions of sponsors. Winning couple will be required to hold the ceremony and reception on the above mentioned date. If the date is not agreed upon by couple, the prize will be forfeited. Entry into the give-a-way gives WVVA, Locked Hearts, and its sponsors permission to use the names, essays, and images of the participants for promotional purposes without compensation. Winners are required to sign a release from WVVA News, Locked Hearts, and sponsors to use names, essay and images for promotional use.

Finalists and winning couple must agree to complete audio and video documentary of all aspects of event planning, ceremony and reception, and follow-up interview after wedding.

Not included: The contest prize package does not include marriage license. Winning couple must apply for and obtain marriage license in Princeton, WV at Mercer County Clerk's Office. All decoration set-up and tear down are the responsibility of the winning couple unless upgrade Locked Hearts Wedding Day Manager package to Full Wedding Planning at couple's expense.

Cancellation: Cancellation of the wedding for any reason forfeits rights to all prizes.
