Locations for flu shot in Mercer County

As flu season comes upon us, it is important to be vaccinated against the virus in attempts to avoid sickness this winter.

The vaccination should be administered to all children ages 5-18, and older citizens age 50 and older. Of course, everyone should make attempts to receive the shot, but those most at risk, school aged children and the elderly, should certainly be vaccinated.

Local flu shots will be given at the Mercer County Health Clinic begining October 1 from 9 a.m. through 8 p.m. and everyday thereafter from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The cost is $25, but most insurers should cover the cost.

The vaccination will also be administered at the Walgreens on Walker Street in Princeton. Stop by the pharmacy October 15, from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. For information on cost and insurance coverage call 304-431-4967.
