Emma's Touch held a very special blood drive Saturday at the Princeton Church of God.
Emma's Touch, was created in honor and memory of Emma Vannatter who died when she was just 28 months old.
She was diagnosed with cancer at 16 months and battled the disease for a little over a year.
Now, her parents are hoping to serve as advocates for children battling cancer.
Karen Vannatter explains their goal with the event, "Cancer patients are the leading users of blood and blood products. And then also to raise awareness for childhood cancer. In the adult world, there is a lot of awareness for adult cancers but there is not that much for children who have cancer."
Emma used 106 units of blood during her treatment.
The goal of Saturday's blood drive was to receive 100 units.
WVVA's Erica Greenway helped in that effort by stopping by to donate.
Emma's Touch has a special movie airing on Friday March 26th.
The film is called, Letters to God- Hope is Contagious.
The movie starts at 7pm at the Princeton Church of God.
Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.
