The new casino being built at the Greenbrier Resort is a little behind schedule but should be set to open in May.
Owner of the Greenbrier, Jim Justice, tells us the weather put them behind on their original goal of opening in April.
However, the roof is now up for the underground casino so work is now moving ahead quickly.
Mr. Justice says the 82,000 square foot facility is like nothing in our area.
"We have all the final drawings of everything that is going to go in. We're going to have a wonderful mezzanine level. It's going to have restaurants and retail stores and everything. Then you'll drop down into this really Monte Carlo, Gone with the Wind, James Bond type experience. It's really going to be special." describes Mr. Justice.
Meanwhile, the Tavern Casino, which is already open at the resort is bringing in big profits for The Greenbrier.
The Tavern will stay open after the main casino opens but will be used for private parties or events.
