ELKINS, W.Va. (AP) - Aegis Communications Group Inc. is closing its Elkins call center.
The company notified the affected employees by letter on Monday.
WorkForce West Virginia says the company employs between 200 and 250.
Aegis said the decision to eliminate all of its customer service representatives and related administrative positions on Feb. 25 was a business necessity.
It plans to help the workers find other employment within the company or the community.
