CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A Philadelphia man indicted with 54 members and associates of the Pagan Motorcycle Club is close to release while awaiting trial.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Mary Stanley has ordered 48-year-old Vincent Pezzano be brought to court to be released Tuesday. Stanley ruled there are conditions that will keep the community safe from Pezzano.

Pezzano has been held at the South Central Regional Jail since October, when he was arrested for allegedly bringing proceeds from an illegal lottery to West Virginia for Pagans leaders.

The charge is among 44 leveled against Pagans from West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida.

Several defendants have cut plea deals and are cooperating, including national vice president Floyd Moore.
