One day after visiting West Virginia University, Jeremy Johnson of Silsbee High School in Texas was ready to commit and he did.
Johnson verbally committed to play football for the Mountaineers.
The 6-foot-2, 182-pound quarterback had a breakout season in 2008. He threw for 1,800 yards, rushed for 932 and threw 20 touchdowns.
Johnson told the Silsbee Bee newspaper that WVU coaches told him he will have a chance to play as a freshman.
