Some browsers (Mozilla Firefox) provide support for RSS. Users of other browsers will need to download and install a news reader program or use an RSS service such as Bloglines. FeedDemon is an example of an RSS news reader for the Windows PC platform. Macintosh OS X users may wish to use an WVVAplication like NetNewsWire. These programs allow readers to display the latest headlines without opening a web browser. Clicking on a headline opens a browser window to that story.
