Internet Director
WVVA is searching for an Internet Director. This is a high-level, conceptual administrator with ample tv experience who understands internet technology and will contribute by providing hands-on development of our website.

*The ideal candidate must be able to communicate with newsroom and all other departments.

*Must have college degree, preferably in journalism or related field.

*Will be a self-starter with proven ability to gather information and use it to create compelling content for the web. Ability to deal with deadlines and time pressures.

*Experience in a tv newsroom preferred. Understanding of tv online and on-air promotions and marketing, and online sales experience a plus.

*This is not a web design position, but candidates with Photoshop and Flash skills are a plus.

News Photographer
WVVA is searching for a candidate to fill the position of News Photographer. Candidate must have a creative eye for capturing great video for use in news stories and promotional materials. Candidate must be able to carry at least 40 lbs and must be in good physical shape. Great communication skills are a plus. Candidate must also have the capacity to learn how to fully operate the WVVA ENG-SNG Vehicle for delivering live shots throughout the market. Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule and quickly report to work when called for breaking news and other news events.
