BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - Dozens of architects and engineers from a North Carolina design firm have pitched their ideas to revitalize Bluefield to city officials.
The crew arrived in Bluefield Friday morning and worked around the clock until their Saturday morning departure, developing ideas that would help liven up and differentiate the city.
The team from the firm Land Design in Charlotte, N.C., presented their vision to city officials Saturday morning. The planners will give a final presentation on their suggestions -- and how to fund them -- to the City Board next month.
The team's initial consultation was free to the city. If the city likes what they hear, they will hire the firm to make the ideas reality.
