The JP Morgan Chase foundation is providing funding through the American Red Cross to help assess the emotional needs of families affected by the recent coal mine disaster in Raleigh County.

The foundation is hopeful the $7,500 grant will improve the emotional health of the families, survivors, and rescuers affected.

JP Morgan is also aiming to boost collaboration among mental health agencies in the state and improve mental health support response in the future.
