Bluefield (WVVA) - A Wyoming County jury has convicted a bus driver of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian.
Robert Junior Thomas was convicted Wednesday after a two day trial before Special Judge Robert Burnside.
Thomas, a Wyoming County Board of Education bus driver at the time, was convicted of having sex with a 16-year-old Westside High School student in July 2007.
A sentencing date has not yet been set, but will likely be sometime in January.
Thomas faces ten to twenty years in the penitentiary and a fine of up to $5,000.
