Sending holiday cards to troops

Posted:

The American Red Cross and Pitney Bowes are teaming up to send holiday cards to the soldiers serving over seas.

This is the third year the two organizations have partnered for the Holiday Mail For Heroes program.

Through the program, the Red Cross collects and sorts through thousands of homemade holiday cards, and Pitney Bowes pays for the postage to send the cards to troops and military families all around the world.

If you'd like to participate in the program just mail your greeting cards to:

Holiday Mail for Heroes

PO Box 5456

Capitol Heights, MD 20791

All cards must be postmarked by Dec. 7.
