According to First Sergeant DJ Fowler with the Virginia State Police, 42-year-old Philip Albert Wray from Castlewood, Virginia died after he was hit by a '95 Nissan driven by Michael Stevenson of Bluefield, Virginia.
Fowler says Wray was attempting to cross the road around 6:30 p.m. Sunday night near the Fast Stop on Route 460, when the fatality occurred.
No charges have been filed at this time, and the case is still under investigation, says Fowler.
