According to state troopers on the scene, 38-year-old Leonard Cox allegedly attacked his wife Rhonda Cox, 33 Tuesday evening in McDowell Bottom.
After the attack, Rhonda Cox attempted to flee the scene in a vehicle, which Leonard Cox reportedly shot at three times, hitting the car but missing Mrs. Cox.
Mr. Cox was later arrested in Keystone and remains in custody.
Rhonda Cox is reported to be in stable condition at this time.
