Bluefield (WVVA) - Tazewell County authorities arrest a man for allegedly stabbing his mother's live-in boyfriend numerous times.
Christopher Baldwin, age 36, of Bishop, Virginia has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and is currently being held in the Southwest Regional Jail without bond.
According to the Tazewell County Sheriff's Department, the stabbing took place around 7:30 AM Thursday at a home on Harvest Street in Bishop. The victim, Roger Billips, age 59, is listed in stable condition at Tazewell Community Hospital.
The two were apparently arguing over money and prescription drugs before the stabbing took place.
