 How Does It Work?
We get so many phone calls and e-mails this time of year with Snow Patrol concerns, we thought explaining the system here would be a help to all of us.

The Snow Patrol System is an automated system. WVVA DOES NOT enter the information on this system.

Appointed people in each school system have a password and code that they use to call in and enter their school's information.

What time they choose to do this is totally up to them.

The employees at WVVA have no control over when or what these appointed persons put in the Snow Patrol System and cannot enter any information.

The system up-dates constantly on the web site, however you may have to click your refresh button in some browsers, (software you use to get on the internet, Explorer, Netscape) it is put across the bottom of your TV screen as often as possible and also constantly up-dated.

If you are a member of a school system that wants to have your information included in the Snow Patrol System you must call during regular working hours and set this up with an engineer.

The Snow Patrol System's information is purged everyday shortly after 10:00am. After that any information is new and pertains to that day, night etc, or the next 24 hours.
